The Mojo HD5 is proof that descending prowess doesn't have to limit climbing capability.
Please note: the image is for illustration purposes only and may differ from actual spec, please check the details tab for full specification.
Enduro World Series tested and team-approved, the HD5 lives for ragged descents combined with real-world climbs requiring efficiency, positioning and poise. Which it delivers in spades. It’s the ultimate 27.5” brawler, living to ride as hard up as down with 153mm of dw-link controlled travel and a 170mm fork. 76 degrees of climbing we'd like you to meet 64.2 degrees of descending.
DW LINK
Since 2005, we've partnered with suspension guru Dave Weagle on the dw-link suspension platform. It provides an unparalleled combination of climbing efficiency and downhill performance, that has been proven repeatedly at the highest levels of racing.
TRACTION TUNE
Our custom tuned front and rear suspension feature extra light high speed compression and rebound damping to deliver unparalleled traction. This allows the wheels to flutter through terrain like a trophy truck storming through a set of whoops.
LIGHTWEIGHT PREMIUM CARBON
Whether you order an XTR or NX kit, you'll get the same premium carbon fibre frame. All our bikes are built from the highest-grade materials and optimised for the best strength, weight, stiffness, and ride performance.
PICK YOUR SIZE
We use names like small, medium, and large to describe our sizing because it's easy to understand, but our ultra-low standovers and clearance for long droppers give you the ability to size based on reach.
FORK OFFSET
Reduced-offset forks give the front wheel greater stability at speed and an additional sense of steadiness at slow speeds too. Since the HD5 is designed to excel in technical, demanding terrain, we went with a reduced, 37mm-offset fork to give that extra bit of confidence and control in the most challenging situations.
2.6" TYRE CLEARANCE
Ibis helped pioneer the wide rim revolution, which inspired the new crop of wider 2.4"-2.6" tyres. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra low pressures which results in elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing straight line speed.
INTERNAL CABLE TUNNELS
Internal cable routing used to be a pain but our internal tubes make routing easy. Just pop the housing through and it comes out the other end, no need for swear words or a pickset. It's clean and easy. As it should be.
LONG DROPPER POST
What's better than a dropper post? A longer one. Our frames are designed to accommodate the longest dropper posts possible. Riders over 5'8 (or 173cm) can easily run a 185mm dropper post, while folks between 5' and 5'8 (152cm-172cm) can use a post 125mm or longer depending on inseam length.
LINKAGE PROTECTION
It's all about the little details. To keep your bike looking and performing at its best, we've fortified the upper pivot with a steel guard and added a plastic fender about the lower link. The HD5 also ships with a polycarbonate downtube protector and moulded rubber swing arm protectors.
REMOVABLE ISCG 05 MOUNT
There if you want it, removable if you don't.

Ready to ride
Every bike from Start Fitness is fully checked & assembled before despatch and will arrive, almost, ready to ride. Each bike is assembled by one of our CyTech accredited mechanics and then packed into one of our custom boxes.
*This process has a lead time of 2-4 working days.
Unfortunately during peak times this may be slightly delayed. We will however, aim to despatch your bike as quickly as possible. Minimal assembly, with basic tools, is required before you can ride. Assembly tools are not usually included.
Making sure you are home
Once fully checked and boxed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date when you will be home to take delivery. Our bikes are despatched with a premium delivery service which usually delivers next working day (excludes weekends & bank holidays) for mainland UK orders, it may take slightly longer for some areas, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and outlying Scottish areas. European bike deliveries usually take approximately one week.
Taking Delivery
Any mechanical or cosmetic issues need to be reported to us within one week of the delivery date. If you do not plan on using the bike straight away, we advise that you remove it from the box and check it over ASAP as we cannot be responsible for any reported issues (other than standard warranty issues) later than one week from the date that the bicycle was delivered.
First Service
After a few weeks of riding (we recommend around 6-8 weeks, regardless of how much the bike has been used), a new bike will need a service to make final adjustments and to re-check all nuts and bolts. This is necessary as the bike goes through a ‘bedding in’ phase, after which, final adjustment may be necessary. We recommend that this is carried out by a CyTech qualified mechanic.
It is important to have these checks carried out to prevent any avoidable problems which may not be covered by warranty and to ensure the smooth running of your bicycle. If you’re local to us, we’re able to offer this first service free of charge* at our Newcastle store (NE1 6JE). You’ll just need to call our workshop on 0191 917 3825 to book your service in, and don’t forget to bring your proof of purchase when you drop the bike off with us.
If you’ve had the bike delivered, it will be your responsibility to ensure a first service is carried out at a trusted bike shop local to you, preferably by a Cytech certified mechanic. Start Fitness are unfortunately not able to cover any costs associated with this service if carried out by another store.
*Please note that this complimentary check-over does not include any labour to replace worn parts or to fit new accessories. All bikes should be delivered to us in a clean and serviceable condition, or a £15 cleaning charge will be payable.
Bike Servicing
Bicycles need to be serviced regularly, as a guideline we would advise on at least one full service per year and/or a standard service twice a year. If the bike is used regularly in adverse conditions, more regular servicing may be required.
