The Ultimate Performance Elastic Ankle Support is a lightweight breathable elastic mesh support that provides firm and even compression. It is a level 1 ankle support providing lightweight support that does not restrict movement. Therefore, we recommend it for weak, stiff or aching ankles, mild sprains, strains, tendonitis and arthritis. In particular, for helping reduce swelling following an ankle sprain.

The Ultimate Performance Elastic Ankle Support provides compression and protection without the bulk or heat retention of neoprene. In particular, the tailored design ensures all-day comfortable support for sprained, stiff or aching ankles. The latest edge trim technology helps prevent he support from slipping and reduces wear.

Elastic or neoprene ankle support?
Deciding between an elastic or neoprene supports often comes down to personal preference. Both provide excellent compression. However, the benefits of elastic supports is they are thinner and less bulky than neoprene. Therefore, this makes them more comfortable to wear for extended periods. Elastic retails less heat. This is great if you have swelling, however, chronic tendon injuries benefit from higher heat retention of neoprene.
