Brooks Glycerin 19 was designed to have all the comfort of its predecessor, the ultra-cushioned Brooks Ghost, but with a lighter weight and higher energy return. Through its DNA LOFT cushioning, this running shoe is built for smooth heel to toe transitions and its rounded heel offers better support and alignment to protect the joints.

Its earlier iterations — the Brooks Glycerin 17 and 18 — introduced the Plush Fit inner sole, an internal sock built into the trainer that expands and responds to your stride for maximum comfort. This makes them a versatile shoe perfect for sprinting and long runs alike, and we stock them in a range of styles and sizes for both men and women.

While the standard Glycerin model is a maximum-cushioned, neutral trainer, the Brooks Glycerin GTS 19 and 20 (newly released in July 2022) are classed as stability trainers. Stability running shoes such as these are ideal for runners with overpronation, who need more ankle support and a less flexible sole.
