Should workout shorts be tight or loose? It all depends on what kind of exercise you're doing, for example, cycling shorts may be tighter than most running shorts. However, for the best workout experience, shorts should have a snug but breathable fit that isn't too tight or too loose for optimal comfort. Is it good to wear shorts to the gym? Shorts are a great choice for the gym as they offer breathability for those who are looking to do intense cardio but also offer flexibility for weightlifters, especially during leg day. Shorts won't restrict you and can ensure you're maintaining proper form to help you get the most of your workouts and avoid injuries.
