Please note that this is an ex-demo bike, and as such, does show some signs of use. There are small scratches in various places on the bike, however there are no major cosmetic imperfections. There are two scratches on the non-drive-side of the downtube, which we have shown in the product images. This is the worst of the damage. The bike has covered 51 miles while being demoed. The price has been adjusted to reflect this.
BOSS THE TRAILS - PATRON eRIDE
THE NEW INTEGRATION BENCHMARK
From flow to rougher trails, the Patron eRIDE is like a Swiss knife, able to bring you up the trail with efficiency and ride down with confidence. It has the biggest internal battery and the latest technologies. 160mm of travel front and rear
THE INTEGRATED SHOCK
160MM OF DREAMY SUPPORT
The Patron comes with a completely new and revolutionary design. The rear suspension is fully integrated into the frame and gives 160mm of travel. More than a design element, the shock integration gives space to the other elements such as the motor, the battery and a water bottle. Easy to access, the shock comes with our TwinLoc technology to lock the suspension directly from the handlebar for optimal pedaling efficiency.
THE BATTERY
FIRMLY IN PLACE BUT EASILY REMOVABLE
The Patron eRIDE comes with the latest electric technology from Bosch. Looking for more autonomy? The Patron sets a new standard with the new 750Wh battery and its 20% additional capacity. One of the biggest achievement of this bike is to fit the biggest battery on the market without impacting the tube proportions, we were also able to keep offering all sizes from S to XL. Expect to do up to 100km or 2000m of elevation on eco mode or half that if you select the Turbo mode.
STIFFER AND CLEANER
The Patron eRIDE comes with a unique technology to provide an optimal battery support. How? The battery is the heaviest element of the bike, therefore it’s crucial to have it properly mounted without compromising the ease of removal. The battery fits like a glove into its tube which is incorporated into the main carbon frame. This tube in tube construction ensures an easy battery slide-in when it’s time to go riding. Cable routing is as well nice and tidy too.
THE MOTOR
YOU POWER + 340% ON DEMAND
The Bosch motor comes with 85Nm and up to 340% assistance and totally new software that amplifies this natural feeling.
The motor is one of the key element on any E-MTB, therefore we wanted to protect it from impacts. On the Patron eRIDE, the motor is vertically positioned and supported from underneath. The frame acts like a nest with the motor cradled on top for a natural support.
LESS EXPOSURE, MORE COOLING
As the Patron eRIDE motor is supported from underneath, its top part seats in the open air, therefore, like a chimney the air is free to go out. This ventilation steam is even reinforced when you ride thanks to the holes on the cover.
THE HANDLEBAR
NICE AND TIDY
Electric mountain bikes have a crowded handlebar, between the brakes, dropper post, gears, drive unit cables, remote and suspension lockout, that’s a lot of cables. The Syncros Engineering team together with the SCOTT team worked on a clean solution to route cables directly in the handlebar for a clean finished.
Inspired by our racing department, the Patron comes with the carbon 1 piece stem/handlebar combo.
ALL AT A TOUCH OF A FINGER
Trails are technical enough and it’s always better to keep your hands on the handlebar! The Twinloc lever combines now the dropper post lever for a better ergonomics and a cleaner cockpit.
The TwinLoc will for example allowed you to lock your suspension on the road during a transfer. How does it work? The TwinLoc Suspension System is a proprietary SCOTT Suspension System that works by connecting the shock, fork, and ultimately the frame via a handlebar remote. With the remote, the user has the ability to choose from three ride modes, Descend, Traction Control and Lockout, effectively changing the bikes geometry, suspension damping and spring curve simultaneously.
THE DISPLAY
A PATRON eRIDE THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU
Connectivity, flexibility and visibility are the key words for the Kiox 300 and the LED Remote. The Kiox is a 2’’ colored screen integrated in the stem. It displays all necessary info including speed, GPS, cadence and a Bluetooth connection to the eBike Flow App. Don’t want to have a screen on your handlebar? You can take it off and control everything from the LED remote or your phone. The new LED remote displays the current charge status and allows an easy switch from one mode to the other. The ambient light sensor automatically controls the brightness of the LEDs.
THE RIDE
BOSS THE TRAILS
Not much can resist to the riding ability of the Patron eRIDE. From a fast alpine trail to a technical narrow trail in the forest, the Patron eRIDE will give plenty of support and modularity. Close to an enduro bike with its 160mm of travel front and rear, the Patron eRIDE keeps the pedaling efficiency of a cross-country bike thanks to the Twinloc system. This is the model that most of our ambassadors and athletes will use. How does it compare in the SCOTT Range? In terms of suspension, it will give more support than a Genius eRIDE but a bit less than a Ransom eRIDE. On the other hand, it will be nimbler than a Ransom eRIDE.The Patron eRIDE has the biggest battery, the best integration and connectivity.
The all-new Patron eRIDE 920 was designed as a system optimized for all day trail riding. Supreme integration and painstakingly chosen geometry paired with a powerful new Bosch drive unit deliver much more than a great ride. What you get, rather, is a sublime experience up and down the mountain, time and time again. Patron eRIDE - boss the trails.

Ready to ride
Every bike from Start Fitness is fully checked & assembled before despatch and will arrive, almost, ready to ride. Each bike is assembled by one of our CyTech accredited mechanics and then packed into one of our custom boxes.
*This process has a lead time of 5-7 working days.
Unfortunately during peak times this may be slightly delayed. We will however, aim to despatch your bike as quickly as possible. Minimal assembly, with basic tools, is required before you can ride. Assembly tools are not usually included.
Making sure you are home
Once fully checked and boxed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date when you will be home to take delivery. Our bikes are despatched with a premium delivery service which usually delivers next working day (excludes weekends & bank holidays) for mainland UK orders, it may take slightly longer for some areas, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and outlying Scottish areas. European bike deliveries usually take approximately one week.
Taking Delivery
Any mechanical or cosmetic issues need to be reported to us within one week of the delivery date. If you do not plan on using the bike straight away, we advise that you remove it from the box and check it over ASAP as we cannot be responsible for any reported issues (other than standard warranty issues) later than one week from the date that the bicycle was delivered.
First Service
After a few weeks of riding (we recommend around 6-8 weeks, regardless of how much the bike has been used), a new bike will need a service to make final adjustments and to re-check all nuts and bolts. This is necessary as the bike goes through a ‘bedding in’ phase, after which, final adjustment may be necessary. We recommend that this is carried out by a CyTech qualified mechanic.
It is important to have these checks carried out to prevent any avoidable problems which may not be covered by warranty and to ensure the smooth running of your bicycle. If you’re local to us, we’re able to offer this first service free of charge* at our Newcastle store (NE1 6JE). You’ll just need to call our workshop on 0191 917 3825 to book your service in, and don’t forget to bring your proof of purchase when you drop the bike off with us.
If you’ve had the bike delivered, it will be your responsibility to ensure a first service is carried out at a trusted bike shop local to you, preferably by a Cytech certified mechanic. Start Fitness are unfortunately not able to cover any costs associated with this service if carried out by another store.
*Please note that this complimentary check-over does not include any labour to replace worn parts or to fit new accessories. All bikes should be delivered to us in a clean and serviceable condition, or a £15 cleaning charge will be payable.
Bike Servicing
Bicycles need to be serviced regularly, as a guideline we would advise on at least one full service per year and/or a standard service twice a year. If the bike is used regularly in adverse conditions, more regular servicing may be required.
